IACFM, in coordination with Clirnet, celebrated World Breastfeeding Week yesterday from 5 pm by holding a webinar on Difficulties in Navigating the Challenges during Breastfeeding. This is the first in the series of Valuable Insight into Common OPD cases. Loads of thanks to Dr. Anjana Pradeep, Dr. Mohit Bhardwaj, and Dr. Bhanupriya Pande for giving deep insight into the vertical and cross-cutting interventions that will help all the mothers give their natural food to their child without fail.

A rare case of primary tuberculous appendicitis in a secondary care hospital in eastern India: a case report

Why this case report?

As tuberculosis is targeted for elimination under the national tuberculosis elimination program (NTEP), it is strongly recommended that all appendicectomies be followed by a histopathological examination to detect this rare tuberculosis for starting immediate ATT.
